Mackenzie’s Beach

Mackenzie’s Beach is a very interesting dive site, and it is not for everybody.

It requires a walk to get out to the dive site around the rocks on the right or southern side of the beach.
The best spot to enter is around the corner facing Jimmy’s island.  You will enter into a little amphitheatre which is approx 5 to 8 metres deep.

There are two ways out, firstly from where you came from and you will see the other way.  Once out you will need to following the rock ledges and gulleys and swim throughs around to the left so that you end up back on the beach.

Marine Life:

Cuttlefish, rays, lots of schooling fish, Port Jackson Sharks, Crayfish and groupers
